Aliwal Shoal in Umkomaas is a fossilized sand dune featuring unique, mountain-like reef structures with numerous swim-throughs, gullies, and crevices for exploration. Accessible only by boat, there are no shore entries. The surf launch adds to the adventure, with 8.5m Rubber Ducks/RIBs as the vessels of choice.
