Prophète, La Croix-Valmer, France

The wreck of the Prophet lies at a depth of 33 meters on a sandy bottom, southeast of Cap Lardier, near the town of La Croix-Valmer. This cargo ship, 43 metres long and 7 metres wide, equipped with sails and steam propulsion, sank on 28 March 1860 following a water intake. No deaths were reported, but the cargo was lost.
