The Pointe Cacau, located in the Calanques Park of Marseille, is an ideal dive, sheltered from the mistral and the east wind. This site offers a colourful drop-off with red gorgonians and coral that descends from 15 to 20 metres to 42 or 43 metres.
On the way back to Cassis, a scree welcomes conger eels and sometimes lobsters. You can also come across a few groupers, squid in the open water and amberjacks depending on the season. The dives on this site are always rich in interesting encounters.
During the ascent, a stop between 15 and 9 meters allows you to admire two cannons. However, beware of boats sailing near the coast. Don't forget your landing parachute for extra safety.
